Social insecurity plunges many families into unacceptable living conditions within the European project: a political and economic Europe, but too rarely a social Europe. Ever-growing socio-economic differences are taking over most capital cities and plunging Europe into a two-tier society. This social insecurity, which affects a growing number of citizens each day, can be seen clearly in the loss of housing.
